3 Crazy Dog Ladies

Well, what can we say, this is all very exciting, a new website for a new decade and our first blog!
As you may have already read, we are three friends who met at university in 1998. As life does, we all took very different paths; Hannah an insurance broker, Louisa a designer, and me a Solicitor; but 20 something years later, with three husbands, seven children and four dogs under our belts (between us, not each!) we all found ourselves needing a change in career, something we could work around our busy family lives and plough our passion into and voila, Country and Twee!
Hannah was the first to join Country and Twee back in 2016 and luckily for me and Louisa the opportunity arose back in early 2019 for us to become co-owners with her (this came about at Louisa’s surprise 40th birthday after a few glasses of Prosecco but that’s a story for another day...)  What could be better than working with your best friends every day? I’ll tell you, working with your best friends who are equally as dog mad as you, designing and selling dog apparel!
Since the three of us joined forces back in 2019 we have been working hard behind-the-scenes of Country and Twee, dreaming up new designs and thinking how best to bring Country and Twee to life. It is really important to us that people get a feel for what Country and Twee offers, and as they say, "seeing is believing!".
We started the journey to ‘capture’ Country and Twee back in autumn 2019 when we had a day with the wonderful Michael from Peak Video. As we hope you have seen, they filmed and edited the most fabulous video (even if we do cringe at watching ourselves on camera!) which we feel does sum up what we are about; three mums who love their dogs, their families and their products!
We then went on to have some fabulous photo shoots with the amazing Bridget from Bridget Davey Photography, who took some beautiful images of our coats and beds in all their glory with our furry four-legged models.

Finally, we knew we would have to embrace some online changes and we cannot thank Rosie from Wufdesign enough for our shiny new website, she has taken our vision for Country and Twee and brought it to life.
We hope you enjoy our new website as much as we have enjoyed the journey bringing it to you.
We will be regularly blogging and hope to share with you our passions, tips, and insights and we hope you will do the same (watch this space for our Friends of Country and Twee feature, coming soon).
